Life Picture

A picture I just want to share, that tells the meaning of about life:

Growing Up...

Ahh, the two words kids wish to hear. Growing Up.

You wonder why I am doing a post, such as this? Just keep on reading.

I have just noticed that people younger than me (two to three years younger) are interested in doing that nowdays. Growing Up. They try to do things that seem grown up and mature. Having an account on social network sites. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend and being able to date. Watching PG-13 or R movies. For girls, getting to wear makeup. There's more reasons. I am worried for these people.

Why I am I worrying them, to be exact? Well, here's the straight truth. The truth is, they are wasting they're childhood time.

See, they're just kids. I don't see why they're so interested in such things. In fact, they should be enjoying they're childhood time. Kids and teens have it easier, anyway. For now, I'm just enjoying the benefits of being a teen. I don't have to pay for anything (most of the time, anyway). I don't have to worry about if I look pretty or bills or drama and stuff like that. We should not spend our time wondering what drama is happening or see who is going out with who.

It's strange. In my age group, two-thirds aren't even interested in such things. Not yet. We're enjoying the life of being a teen.

This is the way we should act mature. We should be responsible and respectful. We should be role models and leaders to the next generation.

To kids who are reading this, enjoy your time being kids. Once you grow up, you will never come back to that time again.

Be Yourself

Okay. This is my first blog. Honestly, when I first did this, I thought this would be easy. I don't know what to do. I don't know why I did this, since I barely have time to fit anything else into my schedule!

I needed a username that expresses "ME!" when suddenly I remembered something from  my past.  When I was in the fifth grade, me and three others in my table group made up names for each other, describing our personalities. Mine's was MorningTime. When, I asked why, they told me it just said my personality. Optimistic. Nice. Warm and comforting. It was quite odd at first, but the more older I got, I understood. Now, I'm proud to hold that name and be myself.

In middle school and high school, that's hard. People are tease for being a "loser", "geek" and all of those other labels. People are afraid to be themselves because they'd get teased. Some people think they aren't perfect. Others just want to fit in with the "cool" group so that way they'll be "accepted into society" and/because the "cool people are perfect".

Well, let me tell you one thing. Trying to "fit in" as "cool" or being afraid to be yourself isn't right!

Those trying to be in the "cool" crowd because they want to be accepted and let go of your old self, it's like betraying your TRUE self. And it will hurt you a lot. Also, they may seem perfect, but if they're perfect, it's not realistic. Don't change yourself! YOU are perfect just they way you are. As Pink, the singer, says in her song Perfect, "...if you ever, ever feel, like you're nothing, you are perfect..."

And the people who are afraid to be themselves, don't be! Be proud for who you are! Also, as Lady Gaga says, "I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way!" Just be yourself and shine!
